Fanconi syndrome is a complex of renal tubular dysfunction defined by glycosuria without diabetes, generalized aminoaciduria, phosphaturia, bicarbonaturia, uric aciduria, and renal tubular acidosis. It is often associated with hypokalemia, hypophosphatemia, rickets and osteomalacia.
